At Smith’s Blind & Shade, Inc., we attribute over 80 years of success in the window treatment industry to knowledgeable personnel, quality products, discount pricing, and ability to service the products we sell.
Smith’s Blind & Shade, Inc. distinguishes itself from most competitors with years of experience in window treatment repairs. We have an in-house repair facility that stocks a variety of parts, allowing us to repair most products in three to five working days. Our store inventory of discontinued and hard-to-find parts allows us to also service older products. Whether it be a broken cord or tilt gear, damaged slat, or drapery alterations, we typically offer a cost-effective solution in a reasonable time frame to meet your needs.
Our storefront is located on Charlotte Pike in West Nashville, approximately three blocks west of White Bridge Road. We encourage you to call our office to schedule an estimate or repair, get driving directions, ask a pricing question, or ask a technical question. Our friendly staff is always willing to assist. History
Established in 1930. Originally, Smith's Blind Shop was the premier blind repair shop in Nashville. Mr. Smith was the first locally advertised "blind man." The business was located on Natchez Trace close to the Vanderbilt Stadium. Smiths’ Blind Shop quickly became known all over Nashville as the place to go for blind repairs, blind refurbishing, and blind cleaning. The shop was also known for offering new custom-made venetian blinds and shades at discount prices.
Present ownership incorporated and changed the name to Smith's Blind and Shade, Inc. in 1986. Smith’s Blind & Shade continues it’s reputation for knowledgeable service, along with access to hard-to-find parts, and quality custom-made products at reasonable prices.
